The facility's new environment allows staff to provide residents with more choices. The Medical Care Facility is now able to offer the following:
- 36 private rooms
- 32 semi-private rooms that have full-height partitions
- All resident rooms are equipped with wheelchair-accessible, ceramic showers
- All resident rooms are telephone, cable, and internet ready
- Every third resident room is equipped with a thermostat that controls the heating and cooling for a bank of three rooms
- The corridor flooring is a single strip laminate product there are 167 cuts in each of the large square patterns
- Four distinct "Neighborhoods" that operate autonomous of one another
- A locked "Special Care" unit with it's own private courtyard
- The "Family" rooms access the main courtyard
- Buffet-style dining with a two hour window for each meal
- All Residents have a wheelchair-height 6x6' window
- Nurses stations have been replaced with skylights and charting rooms
- 450 gallon fresh-water aquarium
- 2 bird aviaries
- Courtyards that are accessible from the family rooms and the great room
